Mary Susan Applegate, the acclaimed American lyricist best known for writing the Grammy nominated“The Power of Love”, a global hit covered by Céline Dion.Dion’s version topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1994 and remains one of the most iconic power ballads of all time. Applegate, who has worked extensively in Germany with a range of European artists, brings her poetic voice to this album. Her lyrics, though rarely in the spotlight herself, have touched millions,and now lend emotional depth and universality to Anna's classical interpretations.
